Koydo Kids Academy ("we", "us", or "our") is an educational platform for children ages 5-11. We are fully committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and applicable state privacy laws.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide our educational service:

• From parents: Email address, payment information (via Stripe)
• From or about children: First name or nickname, grade level (K-5), learning progress data
• Automatically: Device type, browser type, general geographic location (country), session timing

3. How We Use Information

• To provide and improve educational content
• To track learning progress for the child and parent
• To send account and subscription information (to parents only)

4. COPPA Compliance

We obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting any personal information from children under 13. We do not condition access on providing more information than necessary. Parents may review, correct, or delete their child's information at any time.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or disclose children's personal information to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. We may share data with service providers (e.g., Supabase for hosting, Stripe for payments) strictly for service operation.

6. Data Retention

We retain children's data for as long as the account is active or as needed to provide the service. Parents may request deletion at any time by contacting parents@koydo.app.
